Wellington College China - Group Performance Director for Elite Athletes

Package:

Commensurate with seniority and experience

Location:

Shanghai, China

Deadline:

Midday China Standard Time (CST) on Friday, 22 November 2024.

Wellington College China (WCC) was established in 2009 and is the exclusive partner of The Wellington College (TWC) in China. WCC has established three premium international schools under the Wellington brand, three private Hiba Academy bilingual schools, and four nurseries in Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nantong. Wellington international schools teach a curriculum based on the English National Curriculum, while Hiba Academies combine the best of the British and Chinese education systems for Chinese pupils aged 2–18. WCC also has a Central Office which supports the schools to ensure they achieve excellence, providing expertise in areas such as human resources, finance, legal, marketing, academics, among other areas.

The Director of Elite Performance Athletes is a crucial role that provides strategic leadership and develops the schools' recruitment, programme, and post-school pathways for talented athletes. The Director will work closely with different stakeholders to ensure that elite athletes are well supported by their chosen school and in a great position to apply for universities in the United States and worldwide. This leader will also work on building relationships with top universities and emerging talent across a range of disciplines, as well as representing WCC through advocacy and brand recognition.

WCC is an inclusive community of unique individuals with passion, integrity and a commitment to each other. This commitment is shared by the team at Society and we invite candidates who may require access adjustments for the application or process to please contact us at inclusion@society-search.com.
