Asher Lewis
Managing Consultant, Asia Pacific
Asher Lewis is the Managing Consultant, Asia Pacific at Society. He joined the firm after gaining extensive experience at the executive search and leadership consultancy, Kerridge and Partners. Prior to that, Asher worked in research management at the School of Population Health at the University of Auckland and began his career at Unitec Institute of Technology and the Ministry for Primary Industries.
In addition to his role at Society, Asher serves as a Board Observer at Whakarongorau Aotearoa, an organisation that provides free Telehealth services to New Zealanders, funded by the government.
Asher has a wealth of experience working on both board appointments and board reviews for clients in sectors such as central banking, sovereign wealth funds, iwi (tribal) investment funds, and not-for-profits. During his time in higher education, he contributed to numerous research projects, including Marae Ora Kāinga Ora: Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Solutions, which was funded by The Endeavour Fund, a key initiative supporting transformative science for New Zealand's economy, environment, and society.
Asher believes in a partnership-driven approach to global recruitment and draws on his multi-sector exposure to offer astute, tailored solutions that meet the diverse needs of his clients.
Asher holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canterbury and a Master of Arts from the University of Auckland.
