Society represented on Prince's Seeing is Believing visit

As part of Society's on-going engagement with Business in the Community, our Managing Director, Simon Lucas, was recently invited on a Prince's Seeing is Believing visit. This programme, established by HRH The Prince of Wales, aims to give senior business leaders first-hand insight into key social and environmental issues.

Mike Davies, UK Head of Business Development for Santander Corporate and Commercial Banking, and Karen Lynch, Chief Executive of Belu, took founders and leaders of fast growth SMEs such as Society to Greenwich to look at the way businesses can take action on the most pressing community and environmental issues. This included discussing the benefits of Schools-Business partnerships to identify and nurture the best future talent, best practice in employee wellbeing, and practical ways in which SME can champion environmental sustainability.
