Society in attendance at yesterday's Prince's 'Seeing is Believing' event
Simon Lucas, Society’s Managing Director, was asked to present at yesterday’s Prince’s ‘Seeing is Believing’ event hosted by Richard Reed, Co-founder of Innocent Drinks, and Marcelino Castrillo, MD of SME Banking at Santander.
Seeing is Believing is a flagship leadership programme that gives senior business leaders first-hand insight into key social and environmental issues. Established in 1990 by HRH The Prince of Wales, the programme was born from a simple but powerful idea – to close the gap between the boardroom and the community.
Yesterday’s event was hosted at the offices of Swiftkey, the predictive text company. Simon was asked to talk to the delegates about Society’s experience of employee volunteering, and the business benefits we enjoy from participating in, and supporting, events like Give & Gain Day.
