Society in attendance at ClearlySo's SBC 2011

Colleagues from Society were in Old Street today to attend the 6th annual Social Business Conference. Colleagues from Society were in Old Street today to attend the annual Social Business Conference, organised by ClearlySo. Now in its sixth year, the Conference has become a major fixture for anyone interested in the social business and enterprise sector. This year's theme was ‘All shapes and sizes’: a celebration of social business and enterprise in all its forms, from profitable and growing businesses to small organisations driving huge benefits to their local community.

The conference also played host to the inaugural Social Business of The Year Award, in which a series of social entrepreneurs were allowed to pitch their business propositions for 45 seconds.

The ultimate winner of the award was Bristol Together CIC, who were awarded a cheque for £2,000 from the bank Coutts.
