Society delighted to be working with Oxfam

Oxfam is a leading aid and development charity with a worldwide reputation for excellence and over 60 years of experience, working with partners in more than 70 countries worldwide. Society is delighted to be assisting the charity with the appointment of a Senior Global Advisor for the Private Sector, who will play a central role in engineering strategic relationships between large companies and people living in poverty.

It is the charity's intrinsic belief that in a world rich in resources, poverty isn't a fact of life but an injustice which must be overcome. Its work, mainly but not only in developing countries, covers both long-term development and emergency relief in the third world, as well as campaigning on behalf of the poor at all levels from the local to the global.
