Society confirmed as a main sponsor for Give & Gain Day 2013

Business in the Community (BITC) has announced that Society will be the joint sponsor of Give & Gain Day 2013, alongside Lloyds Banking Group.

Society's whole team have taken part in Give & Gain Day for the last three years. Our past projects have ranged from running a CV writing workshop in a homeless shelter to doing gardening at a school in South London.

"The immediate benefits businesses get from Give & Gain Day are seen in terms of staff cohesion and fulfilment. But there's also a deeper long-term reason for providing volunteering opportunities of this sort to our staff - namely that it helps us to recruit and retain the best people" comments Managing Director, Simon Lucas.

"Give & Gain Day is a fantastic way for organisations of all shapes and sizes to bring colleagues together around a shared cause that meets a specific community need.
