Society attends Employers' Forum on Disability event at the House of Lords
Business leaders from every sector converged on the House of Lords yesterday evening to attend a function hosted by the Employers' Forum on Disability (EFD). Society was proud to be in attendance.
The Employers' Forum on Disability is a membership organisation focused on disability as it affects business. Its mission is to enable companies to become disability confident by making it easier to recruit and retain disabled employees and to serve disabled customers. The reception was addressed by a number of high-profile speakers including members of the Lords. EFD's Chief Executive Susan Scott Parker also gave the attendees a sneak preview of the organisation's forthcoming rebrand.
