Society attends BIS-led forum to discuss a new code for executive search firms
Dr Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), hosted an event this morning at the Deloitte Academy in the City to mark three years since the launch of the Voluntary Code of Conduct for Executive Search Firms.
The Voluntary Code was developed by the executive search industry in response to a recommendation from the Davies Review. Society is one of its signatories. Over the past three years much progress has been made, with the executive search community playing a key role in leading the change. In recognition, a new code has been developed which is intended to reflect and recognise those executive search firms delivering superior performance and effort, to improve gender equality in British boardrooms.
