On Purpose begins the search for its 2013 cohort of Associates

Society's friends at On Purpose are currently looking for inspired individuals to join their leadership programme in October this year. On Purpose is a one-year, full-time programme that helps high-flying professionals launch careers that combine the power of business with social and environmental objectives.

Each cohort of On Purpose ‘Associates' undertakes two consecutive six-month work placements in organisations as diverse as, Big Society Capital, HCT Group, O2, Bridges Ventures, Comic Relief, Ben & Jerry's and ToughStuff. These work placements are paid, and underpinned by intensive 1:1 support and world-class training provided by professionals from organisations such as McKinsey, Bain, IDEO, the Big Issue, UnLtd and Bridges Ventures.

Associates gain invaluable experience, knowledge, and networks that allow them to drive social and environmental change through business.

On Purpose looks for exceptional individuals with strong problem-solving and inter-personal skills, a track record of achievement (including at least two years of paid work experience) and a strong commitment to using their career for good. Past Associates have come from diverse backgrounds, having worked at some of the world's top corporations, not-for-profits, and public sector organisations. On Purpose has provided these Associates with opportunities to advance their careers and find meaningful and challenging positions that allow them to utilise their skills for greater good.
