Nick Hurd MP hosts Civil Society Reception at the BT Tower

Society colleagues were in attendance at last night’s event, convened by the Minister for Civil Society, Nick Hurd MP. The Minister is keen to explore how best to mobilise the corporate sector’s skills at scale and how to create the infrastructure required to enable more support to be effectively given to the voluntary sector. Representatives from business, brokerage organisations and frontline recipients of support came together to discuss this theme at the BT Tower in central London.

The event provided a great opportunity to celebrate the fantastic work that’s already done by business and the voluntary sector, as well as to look at the challenges that remain when trying to scale up skills sharing.
