New Consultant to head up Society’s Retail and Consumer Goods Practice
We are delighted to have welcomed Lee-Ann Hearn as the new head of our Retail and Consumer Goods team.
Lee-Ann comes from Pietermaritzburg in South Africa. She studied Travel and Tourism before moving to the UK and worked for a while in the logistics industry. Her headhunting career began in 2003 at a boutique executive search firm that specialised in the Consumer Lifestyle industry. After having children, Lee-Ann founded and ran her own childcare business for five years. She returned to headhunting in 2015 as an Associate Consultant at Frisch Search, specialising in the Lifestyle, Sports and Consumer industries. She subsequently joined Society in 2019. Lee-Ann’s passion is supporting consumer brands to find senior leaders who can drive scale and transformation. She has worked with clients all over the world across the consumer, retail, fashion and sporting goods spaces, supporting them on over 100 assignments during the last five years at all levels and across practically every discipline and function.
Simon Lucas, Society’s Managing Director commented:
“Since the earliest days of Society, the Retail and Consumer Goods sector has formed an important and exciting part of our diet of work. We have, however, been without a head of our Retail and Consumer Goods team for the past year, following an internal restructure in late 2018. This is a key appointment for us, and I was determined that we should wait until we found someone we have total confidence in. Lee-Ann fits the bill perfectly. She shares our values and brings a huge amount of passion, energy and enthusiasm to her work. In her we’ve found someone who possesses that rare mix of sector knowledge, sound judgement and first-rate relationship management skills required to provide the very best service to clients in what is a highly-demanding industry. We’re excited about the expertise she adds to our team, and the sort of important appointments she will be able to take a lead on over the coming months and years.”
