FCO launches 'Low Carbon, High Potential' film

With less than seven days to go before the United Nations' Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, the UK government has released a new film aimed at encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises to seize the opportunities presented by the transition to a low carbon economy.

The ten minute film, entitled 'Low Carbon, High Potential', features interviews with five UK businesses (Kingfisher, Adnams, Continental Clothing, 4energy and Lloyds Banking Group) who are already taking steps to reduce their climate impact. The immediate benefits have included cost savings, positive PR and increased employee engagement.

The film was produced as the result of a collaboration between the Foreign and Commonwealth Office FCO, the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), the Prince's Mayday Network, the Carbon Trust and the Prince of Wales' Corporate Leaders' Group on Climate Change.
