Brother and sister duo 'Garrett & Garrett' win Society's design competition
The video above has been selected as the winner of our recent design competition. Launched back in April, the competition challenged people to create a short animated video introducing Society. The video had to be no more than two minutes in length, and consist of entirely original content.
Mike and Kate Garrett's entry marks their first venture into animation. The brother and sister team of videographers have previously specialised in live action promotional shorts. They have also travelled the length of Central America filming a documentary about volunteering in conservation. Funded by the University of East Anglia, the documentary is available for free online at www.valueofvolunteering.org.
As the final winners of the competition, the Garrett siblings have won a cash prize and a brand-new Apple iPad 2. They have already begun to take on assignments for other businesses and their talents are very much in demand.
