YoungMinds hires Director of Finance and Business Operations

The children and young people’s mental health charity has hired Sacha Dingomal as Director of Finance and Business Operations.

For over 25 years, YoungMinds has been leading the fight for better support for young people’s mental health.  Its new strategy has created a clear purpose of what young people need from it now, and is focused on stopping young people’s mental health reaching crisis point. YoungMinds will be unswerving in realising its new mission: To make sure all young people can get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.

We partnered with YoungMinds during the Covid-19 pandemic to recruit a Director of Finance and Business Operations capable of building the financial, cultural, planning and performance capability of the charity. Our search focused heavily on engaging finance and corporate resource specialists with experience of the charity sector, and then supporting the YoungMinds team and candidates to assess the technical and values fit.

Sacha joins from Cancer Research UK, where he worked as Finance Manager across Technology, HR and Corporate Resources. He previously served as Director of Finance and Corporate Services at Skills Training UK and worked as a Senior Finance Business Partner for University of the Arts London.
