Women Business Collaborative appoints a new Senior Director of Sales and Development
Monica Mizzi has been appointed by Women Business Collaborative as their new Senior Director of Sales and Development.
WBC is an unprecedented alliance of over 80 women business organizations and hundreds of business leaders - building a movement to achieve Equal Position, Pay, and Power for All Women in Business. Through collaboration, advocacy, action, and accountability, they are mobilizing thousands to create momentum and accelerate the pace of change.
Women Business Collaborative retained Society to support them in the search for this crucial role, responsible for fundraising from corporations over two million dollars. We searched across the United States for professionals with experience in corporate relations and strategic partnerships across a diversity of nonprofits, who were also passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion.
The successful candidate brings over six years of sales and development experience, most recently working at the Society of Women Engineers, where she was responsible for securing seven-digit funds from corporations for the organization. Here is what Monica shared about her appointment:
“I am thrilled to join the Women Business Collaborative as the new Sr. Director of Sales and Development. The prospect of contributing to a cause that aligns with my values and passion for social justice has ignited my enthusiasm. My experience working with the Society team has equipped me with valuable insights into the organization's values and the commitment of its key leaders to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. I am eager to leverage my skills and dedication to further the organization's mission, working collaboratively towards creating positive change and empowering women across all spheres of life.”
We wish Monica the best in this new professional milestone.
