University of Exeter Business School makes two key appointments
Society were appointed by the University of Exeter Business School to help identify candidates for the position on Associate Dean (Education). This crucial role has responsibility for setting the vision relating to the conception and delivery of outstanding programmes and innovative pedagogy, student experience and graduate outcomes.
Our search was global in scope. Identifying individuals with experience growing and leading world-class programmes in business schools, and other areas of universities, globally.
The search identified candidates from across the UK, Europe and Asia. Following shortlist and interviews, Dr David Boughey was appointed to the permanent position, having held the interim role to this point. Dr Boughey is also an Associate Professor in International Business History at the University of Exeter Business School having been with the School since 2009.
Alongside this, the School also appointed Dr Lisa Harris to an additional post, that of Director of Digital. Dr Harris joins Exeter from the University of Southampton where she held the post of Director of the Web Science Institute, a Director of the Web Science Centre for Doctoral Training, an Associate Director of the Institute for Learning, Innovation and Development and Associate Professor of Marketing. Dr Harris joins the Business School on 2 October 2017.
