University of East Anglia hires ambitious new Head of the International Office
Karen Blackney has been appointed as Head of the International Office at the University of East Anglia.
The University of East Anglia is a highly ranked, global university whose international student population has doubled in recent years. The Head of the International Office will oversee international recruitment, study abroad and international summer school programmes. She will develop innovative recruiting and marketing strategies in order to achieve and maintain the University’s recruitment targets.
The search was carried out across top UK universities and educational consultancies, looking at candidates with experience in international recruitment.
Karen Blackney has extensive experience in higher education, previously having worked as Head of International Marketing and Recruitment at Brunel University and as Deputy Director for the Centre of International Education at Middlesex University.
