The University of Roehampton appoints a new Deputy Dean (Student Education) of the School of Life and Health Sciences
Ranked the number one modern university in London (Times Good University Guide 2022), the University of Roehampton provides an engaging portfolio of courses across numerous disciplines, such as the humanities, social sciences, business, education, as well as health and life sciences.
The School of Life and Health Sciences has a diverse student population, with 65% identifying as female and 60% as global majority. The School has successful partnerships with NHS and private, independent, and third sector organisations across London and beyond.
The Deputy Dean (Student Education) will strategically lead on the academic provision and student outcomes and experience across the breadth of the School’s portfolio. The role holder will work closely with the Dean to strategically drive the student educational provision, through student opportunities, graduate outcomes and career preparedness, academic development, and digital enhancement.
Society conducted a broad search across the Higher Education sector, identifying individuals with operational and line management experience, as well as the ability to provide leadership in aspects of quality curriculum management and student experience to promote the sustainability of the School.
Dr Mandy Gault has held a number of strategic and operational leadership positions, with a key focus on developing and delivering a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. She also brings valuable experience in quality assurance, student employability and satisfaction, as well as strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
