The Social Hub appoints new Chief Marketing Officer
The Social Hub operates 18 ‘hybrid hospitality’ properties across Europe, where a diverse community of travellers, students, business people, neighbours and others come to learn, stay, work and play. It currently has locations open in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Scotland, and Spain, and several others in the pipeline.
The Social Hub, also a B Corp, has recently committed 1% of its group revenues to its TSH Talent Foundation which provides scholarships for changemakers facing barriers to opportunity, funding their accommodation and personalised growth programmes in key European cities. It also runs the Better Society Academy – 3.5 day complimentary workshops bringing together talent to network, learn and co-create innovative strategies on key societal topics such as DEI, LGBTQIA+ rights, and new economic systems.
Society led the search for a new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead a substantive team overseeing all elements of marketing, branding, communications, public affairs and public relations, as well as performance functions like revenue management, distribution, and sales. Through their leadership and accountability for top-line performance, the CMO will play a critical role in driving continued growth and success of The Social Hub in its competitive marketplace.
Our search strategy encompassed seasoned and experienced marketing and branding professionals with impressive leadership abilities who could successfully work closely with the COCO, the Founder, and the Executive Board.
We are delighted to share Trix van der Vleuten has successfully been appointed as CMO. Trix will work closely with the COCO, the Founder, and the Executive Board during an exciting time of growth.
