Southampton Business School appoints a new Deputy Head of School for Education
Dr Katarzyna (Kasia) Zdunczyk has been appointed as the new Deputy Head of School for Education at the University of Southampton’s Business School.
Southampton Business School has a vibrant research community, committed to addressing a range of important challenges facing education systems, nationally and internationally. As part of the Business School’s senior team, the Deputy Head of School for Education will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the School’s education portfolio. The Deputy Head will also play a fundamental part in providing academic leadership and supporting the Head of School in the development of strategic plans.
Society conducted a broad search across the top ranked business schools nationally, identifying candidates with expertise in research areas that aligned with Southampton’s Business School, but who also brought refined leadership skills and the ability to provide strategic direction in the development of education.
Dr Zdunczyk joins Southampton Business School from the University of Bristol Business School, where she was Associate Professor of Strategy and Management Education, Director International, and Interim Director of Education. She brings with her a substantial experience of academic leadership in the business school environment, having previously led on internationalisation and postgraduate education at the Universities of Surrey, East London, and Newcastle.
