Sanctus hires new Chief Practice Officer
Nathalie Ducray has joined Sanctus as Chief Coaching Officer from Thursday 1st September.
Sanctus is a fast-growing business that aims to make high-quality mental health support more accessible to individuals and organisations. In the space of five years it has built a cohort of over 40 wonderful coaches whose distinctive approach has seen them become highly sought after in workplaces across the UK.
Sanctus came to Society following the completion of an investment of £4.25 million by their partners ScaleUp Capital. They wanted to hire a new Chief Practice Officer (CPO). Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CPO will have direct operational oversight of the business’ growing community of coaches and ensure that they are supported to do their best work. This will be a key leadership position, representing the interests of the coaching profession at the highest level and responsible for ensuring Sanctus meets the highest standards across its work. Candidates for the role were expected to be qualified coaches or therapists with an affinity for Sanctus’ philosophy and mission. Sanctus were looking for people who could demonstrate significant technical, professional and practice-led experience, combined with commercial acumen and strong leadership skills.
After an extensive search process, the appointed candidate was Nathalie Ducray, former Chief Coaching Officer at MoovOne, which was acquired by CoachHub last year. After graduating from Edhec Business School, Nathalie spent 15 years working in Sales and Marketing roles in the media industry for major French organisations such as France Télécom, Canal+ and TDF. She then seamlessly moved into coaching and training for both individuals and teams in the corporate world. She is certified in Co-Active Coaching (CPCC) and Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSCC) and is accredited as a Professional Certified Coach by the ICF (International Coach Federation).
Speaking about her appointment yesterday, Nathalie commented:
“I am really excited to join Sanctus today as Chief Coaching Officer. Sanctus is a dynamic company with its specific coaching approach to empower all employees to reach their true potential. Sanctus builds on its mental health knowledge and experience, and its coaching expertise and practice, to support managers to create a great space for their direct reports to flourish, and to offer to all employees a safe space to talk through any struggle to reach their full potential and wellbeing. As Chief Coaching Officer, I am very happy to be working with wonderful team members in coaching expertise, coaching and partners operations, and the brilliant Sanctus community of coaches, to serve our clients (called Partners at Sanctus, which means a lot to me!) I am also excited to embrace the new ways of working : remote, hybrid, international, digital … and above all, Human first! Last but not least, I can feel that Sanctus holds the same values as mine, among them : authenticity, daring even through difficulties, and willingness to grow while respecting self and others… a coaching company walking the talk of coaching!”
She also added a mention of her experience with Society, saying:
"Society has been a key stakeholder in my recruitment process. Simon has been very supportive, reaching out when needed to keep me informed, and preparing interviews with the accurate mindset. A pleasure to work with!"
