RMIT University Vietnam hire a new Professor of Digital Media
Lim Kok Yoong is joining RMIT University Vietnam in a newly created Professor of Digital Media position, within the School of Communication & Design.

RMIT International University Vietnam (RMIT Vietnam) has campuses in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
The Professor of Digital Media role was created to provide high-level research leadership by developing and leading research project teams and programs and fostering a vibrant research culture. This position will be responsible for developing a high-quality and productivity-driven research network across RMIT and with external national and global partners.
Society was tasked with running a global search for this appointment, we scoured the top-ranked Universities across the field of digital media, with a particular focus on interactive media. We engaged with a broad range of experienced academics across Continental Europe, Australasia and the UK.
Lim was previously the Dean and a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Creative Multimedia at Multimedia University Malaysia. He has sixteen years’ experience in academia and teaching, as well as an extensive network of industry contacts and multimedia partnerships.
