Professor Jane Harris takes up Associate Dean of Research post at the London College of Fashion
Society is delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Jane Harris as the Associate Dean for Research at the London College Fashion. Jane is a Professor of Digital Design and Innovation and was previously the Director of Design Research at Kingston University, where she has established and led a research and enterprise culture working with approximately 55 academic staff members across the Design School.
An experienced PI on UK Research Council awards, Jane has also received Fellowships from the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts (NESTA), and the Arts Foundation, and awards from the Arts Council of England, the Rootstein Hopkins Foundation and Channel 4. She has also advised the EPSRC, the Arts Councils of England and Scotland, and the Crafts Council, and has worked extensively in the UK and international HE sector, including as a Visiting Professor of Design Research at the Geneva University of Art and Design.
In her new role, Jane will be responsible for developing and managing the College’s research environment and contributing to strategic research planning at College-wide level.
