Plymouth University hires new Head for their Project Management Office
Society were engaged by Plymouth University to help hire a prominent project manager to Head their Project Management Office, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

The Head of the Project Management Office will be a key member of the University’s professional services team, responsible for setting up the new Project Management Office, which will act as a centre of excellence within the University for the efficient delivery of large-scale and complex projects. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of the Project Management Office will have direct leadership responsibility for the institution's strategic project activities, and accountability for the governance of all university projects.
Our search was national in scope, covering higher education institutions and large retail organisations. The final candidate list included individuals from leading national universities, private sector giants and public bodies.
Andrew Honey was appointed to the post of Head of the Project Management Office from Anient Ltd, a low and zero carbon consultancy, of which he was Founder and Director. Andrew has a wide ranging background including working for Xansa plc, Proxicom UK Ltd and Sema Group plc.
