Oxford and Cambridge Club appoint Belen Lopez as Head Housekeeper
The Oxford and Cambridge Club has been welcoming members drawn exclusively from the alumni and senior staff of both universities for almost 200 years. This reputable Private Members’ Club has seen some of the country's most notable figures walk through its doors, from T. S. Eliot to Stephen Fry.
Society are delighted to have been involved in the recent appointment of Belen Lopez as the new Head Housekeeper. Belen joins the Club having worked previously at the Savoy as Assistant Head Housekeeper. Prior to this she spent a number of years working at The Berkeley Hotel - part of The Maybourne Hotel Group. When we asked Belen about her experience as a candidate in this process, she said:
“I believe the Oxford and Cambridge Club and I are a match made in heaven. I am ever so grateful to Alina for spotting me and making it possible.”
