MSF USA appoints a Director of People Operations
Ti Ron Gibbs is appointed as MSF USA’s Director of People Operations.
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières is an organization made up of people from around of the world that share a common purpose: to save the lives and alleviate the suffering of people in danger by delivering medical care where it is needed most. Their members include doctors, health sector workers and other professions that are committed to providing this lifesaving aid. Since 1971, they have been working tirelessly to aid populations in distress, victims of natural or man-made disasters, and victims of armed conflict. They do so irrespective of gender, race, religion, creed, or political convictions.
Society was retained by MSF USA to search for a Director of People Operations. This role would support the Director of People and Culture in all operational aspects in the HR team. Society searched for HR professionals who were mission driven and who were true operational HR leaders.
After completing the search process, Ti Ron Gibbs became the appointed candidate for the role. Ti Ron brings over 20 years of experience working in the HR and DEI field with multiple organizations.
“It is an immense privilege to join the People and Culture team and implement initiatives with the MSF US People Operations team. At a time when the scale and complexity of people and culture implementing technology solutions that drive responsiveness and globalization, we face an humanitarian system under massive strain. This important organization makes immense contributions. I am excited to work with the team, including the incredible staff and leaders to better understand how we as a team can best serve them and increase the impact of people and culture initiatives. Every step of the way, from their initial approach to the contract signature, Jomar, Christopher and the Society team were just incredible.”
We wish Ti Ron the best in his new role working with such a great organization.
