Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group appoints new Assistant Regional Director of Operations Finance

Warren Hochreiter joins Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group to support the Operational Finance teams in Europe and The Americas. This role provides continuous leadership and guidance in matters relating to the financial operation of the hotels in the two regions.

For more than fifty years, Mandarin Oriental has been established as a leader in luxury hospitality and has a rich and proud history. Today they are firmly established as a truly global luxury player, with a presence in major cities and resort destinations around the world. They now operate 38 hotels and 11 residences in 25 countries and territories, with each property reflecting the Group’s oriental heritage, local culture and unique design.

Society was engaged to look across Europe for a seasoned Hotel operational finance person who has supported on-property finance teams in a region, area or a cluster of hotel properties, either fully operational, or at pre-opening or re-branding stage. With his extensive experience, Warren will collaborate with senior management to set up internal control systems, conduct performance reviews, assess the needs of each property, and impart his expertise to help the hotels to succeed, whilst providing training and support to allow the teams to develop.

Warren, leaving his role as Regional Director of Finance at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square after twenty years, has been collaborating with property, corporate and ownership stakeholders to identify and maximize business and profit enhancement opportunities and to drive change to meet and exceed established targets. He has undertaken regular property visits to work together with the teams to identify and develop talent; provide support, training and coaching; ensure regulatory and internal control compliance and to work with the Hotel’s management team in establishing key objectives to maximize the value of the asset.
