London College of Communication’s Design School appoints an Associate Dean to its Design School
Amana Jenkins joins the Design School at the London College of Communication as its Associate Dean.
London College of Communication (LCC) is a pioneering world leader in design and media education. With the communications sector constantly evolving at a rapid speed, LCC works at the cutting edge of new thinking and developments to prepare the students for successful careers in the creative industries of the future. The Design School is the largest within the College and required the incoming Associate Dean to lead on projects including quality assurance and monitoring processes related to standards of teaching, learning and attainment, and new course development and validation.
Society conducted a search for an Associate Design for the Design School, with a particular focus on the UK due to the need of the successful candidate having a good understanding of the UK HE context for this crucial appointment.
Prior to assuming her new position of Associate Dean, Design School at LCC, Amanda Jenkins was on secondment at LCF as, Associate Dean for Widening Participation and Schools Progression. She has worked across the different colleagues across UAL’s since 2007 in roles such as Course Coordinator and Programme Director.
