DoSomething Strategic hires new Business Development Director
DoSomething Strategic - a dynamic US strategy consultancy that offers its clients creative content solutions focused on young people and purpose - has appointed Mary Shouvlin Noel as its new Business Development Director.
Linked to the non-profit DoSomething.org, the largest organization focused on young people and social change, DoSomething Strategic leverages proprietary data for six million DoSomething members worldwide to help its clients effectively engage this audience.
Society’s broad search focused on a range of creative business development professionals with a track record of growing revenue for cause-based initiatives. We particularly sought out people experienced selling intangible consultancy services able to demonstrate entrepreneurialism, commerciality and an inclusive, socially-minded approach. The resulting field included both seasoned business development professionals and bright, up and coming entrepreneurs spanning the non-profit, B Corp and creative services arenas.
Joining from Andela, a company that builds high-performing engineering teams by investing in Africa’s most talented software developers, Mary stood out for her creative approach to new business development combined with her overt connection with DoSomething Strategic’s values and ambition.
Sam Arpino, Talent & Culture Manager at DoSomething Strategic commented:
“Collaborating with Society to make this hire was nothing short of seamless. Society’s team is thoughtful and thorough; they listened to our distinct needs and delivered at or above expectations every step of the way. We recommend Society to any organization looking to add dynamic people to their team without the notoriously heavy lift at the onset of hiring.”
