Bob joins Warwick from Serco, where he was Executive Director for Strategic Partnerships. Tony was previously a senior manager across Europe, the Middle East and Africa with Starbucks, He also has wider high street retail experience with the Whitbread Group and in the commercial arm of Ferrari. Tony's appointment is part of the University’s wider ambition to build capacity and breadth of experience and thinking in the Campus and Commercial Services Group. He will report to the Director for Campus Services, Mike Roberts, and will be applying his significant retail and commercial expertise to help develop the range of services, facilities and products at the institution.

Ken Sloan, Warwick's Registrar and Chief Operating Officer commented:

"The selection process for these posts attracted an incredibly strong field and everyone involved in the process is delighted that Tom, Bob and Tony are joining us. The development of new revenue streams to contribute to and underpin Warwick's research, teaching and student experience has been an integral part of the University's development: the management training centres, jobs.ac.uk and Unitemps are just some examples of successful initiatives that have become key to the University’s external profile and income portfolio. The ability and capacity to secure alternative revenue streams and surplus for reinvestment are more important than ever to enable Warwick to deliver on its strategic ambitions."
