Cambridge Education Group makes a creative appointment to an innovative new senior role
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Anna Coakley as Director of Operational Quality for CATS Colleges and CSVPA within Cambridge Education Group (CEG).
The 'Operational Quality' remit is almost unprecedented within the education sector. CEG dreamed up this exciting new post out of a wish to have someone taking an oversight of the complete customer journey for students, their families and the education agents that often advise both parties. Bridging the gap between central services and the campuses, Anna's role will provide a relentless focus on quality and service delivery.
CEG is a global education provider with schools and pathways in some of the most desirable study locations across three continents. In recent years they have experienced extraordinary growth, transforming from a small, UK-based school into a truly global provider. A central pillar of the CEG business comprises the four CATS Colleges and the widely-respected Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts (CSVPA) which the Director of Operational Quality will serve.
Society's search for CEG ranged widely, targeting individuals in a variety of high-end service-based environments such as top hotels, corporate front-of-house set-ups, exclusive sports clubs, museums and galleries, and private healthcare.
Anna studied Hospitality Management at University, then progressed through the graduate training programme at The Savoy, mastering all aspects of Front of House and other guest-facing departments. After spending six years with The Savoy, and assisting in the transitional period as they became part of Fairmont Hotels, Anna was recruited by Portico to work in a corporate client services environment. She began by running services for the investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort, and later moved to the law firm Addleshaw Goddard.
We wish her every success in her new role.
