British Wool New Appointed Board Member
We were delighted to partner British Wool (formerly British Wool Marketing Board) owned by approximately 35,000 sheep farmers in the UK, to appoint a Non-Executive Director. British Wool collect, grade, market and sell British wool on behalf of their producers to the international wool textile industry for use in flooring, furnishings and apparel.
Jo Taylor was successfully appointed as British Wool's Non-Executive Director (NED). Jo is a Senior Brand Marketing leader, Board Advisor, and brand strategy transformation expert. With over 20+ years’ experience delivering creative global and UK brand strategies for companies including Virgin, Peloton, Fat Face, Wiggle and various British lifestyle and beauty brands. She also holds a NED role for a Marketing Research company delivering insights in the metaverse.
Jo shared "the challenges, opportunities and mission of British Wool is what attracted me to the NED role & I'm delighted to official join the diverse board. The Farmer-led-not-for-profit entity with its objective of driving demand for the amazing, diverse, sustainable natural wool product is a refreshing blend of commercialism and credo with its unique aim to support our 35,000 British Sheep Farmers. I am really looking forward to utilising my brand experience to knit the emotional connection between the consumer and the diverse characteristics of British wool, supporting the BW Board in their mission to grow the brand within national & international markets."
