British Heart Foundation appoints Polly Shute as Project Director in Fundraising
Polly Shute, Head of Marketing at Sit-Up Ltd, joins the British Heart Foundation as Project Director in Fundraising to develop and deliver major fundraising campaigns for the charity.
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the single biggest funder of cardiovascular research in the UK. As a charity fighting heart and circulatory disease, the BHF funds research, education and life-saving equipment and helps heart patients. Polly will be accountable for developing and delivering major fundraising campaigns for the charity, maximising exposure and income opportunities.
The search was focused around identifying individuals with senior leadership experience in Marketing and Fundraising across charities and hospitality and retail organisations.
Polly is an experienced Senior Marketing Professional with experience of leading customer driven brand and marketing strategies in both commercial and not-for-profit organisations. With experience leading the brand and marketing strategy at highly commercial companies including Sainsbury’s PLC and Wickes Building Suppliers, more recently Polly joined the not-for-profit sector as Head of Marketing for the National Museums of Science and Industry and latterly rejoining retail at Sit-Up Ltd.
