Better Society Capital appoints new Head of Communications

Better Society Capital approached Society to partner on the appointment of its new Head of Communications. 

Better Society Capital is UK's leading social impact investor. Its mission is to grow the amount of money invested in tackling social issues and inequalities in the UK. This senior leadership communications role leads on the organisation’s digital presence and policy/media engagement strategy with the aim of informing and inspiring potential investors and partners, amplifying learnings and influencing systems change across the social investment arena. 

Society approached communications leaders across the UK with ties to the social finance sector, and experience in setting and implementing communications strategies that make social investment strategies accessible and broadly understood. Finding a collaborative, inclusive and engaging manager/influencer was also important, as highlighted in the Open Hour webinar that we facilitated between the Better Society Capital hiring team and candidates.
