Archer Hotel Capital B.V appoints new Development Manager, Capital Expenditures
Sam Laidler has been appointed to oversee the successful and timely delivery of capital expenditure projects across Archer’s portfolio.
Archer Hotel Capital B.V (“AHC”) was established in December 2018 and owns one of the best quality hotel portfolios in Europe, comprising 11 hotels with a gross asset value of circa €2.4bn and revenues of over €300m. Archer is jointly owned by APG Asset Management and GIC, two of the world’s leading institutional investors.
Society was tasked with finding an experienced and commercially minded project management professional with a successful track record in delivery of large, complex capex projects. A background in hotels or hospitals was desirable but not a pre-requisite. Society conducted a search focused on competitors of Archer delivering similar hospitality projects, consultants from project management firms with a specialty in large-value projects, and project managers working directly for hotels or large hospitals.
Sam brings eleven years’ experience in delivering large capex projects across the transport, real estate and hospitality industries. A chartered civil engineer, Sam joins Archer from Ennismore where he has been successfully delivering projects valued at £20-60 million across the hospitality sector for the last three years.
Society would like to wish Sam all the best in his new position!
