Announcing Rossanna Trudgian as Deputy Director of Influencing, Insight and Impact at Teenage Cancer Trust

Rossanna Trudgian has been appointed as Deputy Director of Influencing, Insight and Impact at Teenage Cancer Trust.

Teenage Cancer Trust's world-leading care and support puts young people in the best possible place, physically, mentally, and emotionally, for their cancer treatment and beyond. Teenage Cancer Trust partnered with Society in the search for a Deputy Director of Young People Services and Partnerships. This newly-created position was designed to oversee policy and public affairs for the charity as well as instilling robust processes to collect data and use that to inform strategic development and decision-making.

Society searched thoroughly throughout the United Kingdom for candidates with the experience needed to be successful in this role, in particular focusing on policy people working within health or young people’s charities with demonstrable experience of collating data and then developing evidence-based strategies.

The appointed candidate was Rossanna Trudgian, who joined from her role as Head of Campaigns and Public Affairs at Action for Children. With over 15 years’ experience, Rossanna began her career as a Parliamentary Assistant before progressing into policy roles at Mencap where she progressed up to Head of Campaigns and Activism before subsequently joining Action for Children.

Rossanna’s substantial policy and campaigns experience working with young people combined with her strong affinity for Teenage Cancer Trust's cause make her an excellent fit for this role. We wish her all the best with her appointment.
