Announcing Dionne Walton as Deputy Director of Young People Services and Partnerships at Teenage Cancer Trust
Dionne Walton has been appointed as a Deputy Director of Young People’s Services and Partnerships at Teenage Cancer Trust.
Teenage Cancer Trust's world-leading care and support puts young people in the best possible place, physically, mentally, and emotionally, for their cancer treatment and beyond. Teenage Cancer Trust partnered with Society in the search for a Deputy Director of Young People Services and Partnerships. This newly-created position was designed to build digital services and oversee partnership growth.
Society searched thoroughly throughout the United Kingdom for candidates with the experience needed to be successful in this role. In particular, we focused on all charities working with young people (be it in health or elsewhere) and targeted individuals in positions such as Head of Services, Head of Digital Services, Head of Partnerships etc.
The appointed candidates was Dionne Walton, who prior to this was the Head of Young People’s Services for Access Community Trust. With over 15 years’ experience, Dionne began her career as a teacher before moving into project management of mentoring services. Bringing extensive fundraising, partnership and facilitation experience with her, we are confident Dionne will be a fantastic addition to the team and wish her every success in her new role.
