Society was commissioned to run a global search for an experienced school administrator with strong credentials in both the IB and British National Curriculum to assume leadership of the School. Society’s consultants engaged a large number of individuals based all over the world to spread the word about this appointment and secure the interest of a diverse set of candidates. We sought the advice of our network of contacts in the international education sector, while also making direct approaches to close-fit individuals not known to us. We were particularly interested in people who could demonstrate a strong values alignment with AKES, as well as possessing the interpersonal and collaborative leadership skills required to lead and support this school community.

Dale is a Canadian currently living and working in Istanbul, Turkey. Her career in international education has taken her all over the world, from the US to Kuwait, Qatar to Turkey. She is a passionate educator with extensive experience in secondary education.

On her new post, Dale commented:

“I am looking forward to working with such a professional and knowledgeable team at the Aga Khan School Dhaka. The Aga Khan Development Network is conducting such valuable work in education, culture and development and I feel privileged to work in one of their schools that has allowed students to achieve a great deal.”

On working with Society on this process, she further added:

“Working with Kerry and Conor at Society was one of the best recruiting experiences I have ever had. Both individuals were professional, caring, communicative, and transparent. Society is an organization with members of high integrity. I have great confidence in the personnel there.”
