Advance hires new Senior Services Manager

Sarah Horscroft has been appointed as Senior Services Manager at Advance.

Advance is a well-respected, award-winning women-only organisation, established in 1998 to provide emotional and practical support to women experiencing domestic abuse and to support women with custodial and community sentences to reduce offending. They sought an experienced service manager to oversee and develop the services it offers to women who have experienced domestic violence and abuse from crisis to step down to recovery.

Society conducted a broad search across domestic violence charities in the UK, as well as service delivery charities that support other vulnerable groups. We identified candidates who demonstrated a strong understanding of this space, had management experience – either as managers of managers or with substantial front-line management complexity– and partnership building skills.

Sarah Horscroft most recently served as Operations Manager at The Prince’s Trust. Prior to that she worked at the VSO and at Pravah.
